Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAP) offer jobseekers a training programme, where they learn new skills, gain hands-on work experience and build their contacts in a new line of work. Every SWAP participant is guaranteed an interview at the end of their course for a live job vacancy.

Digital Skills
Digital Skills is for anyone wanting to improve their IT skills and confidence, or the foundation for aspiring developers and technicians. This programme will empower learners with the essen-tial tools and skills required to begin a career in the digital sector.
1. Initiation Phase – ensuring it is right course for you going through IAG
2. Onboarding Project – fun interactive project embedding learning throughout
3. On Program Group Work – ongoing project work whilst completing course elements which include knowledge and skill based tasks
4. Course completion – finalising all work and completing feedback and actions
5. Support with your chosen Progression Route – end of course aftercare to identify next steps
Coaching & Mentoring

Am I eligible to join?
To be eligible for our Hybrid Learning programmes, you must be over the age of 19, in receipt of benefits, and be based within the funding area of the programme. Information on whether you are based in the right area can be given on an individual basis during the enrolment process.
How are they delivered?
Hybrid Learning programmes are delivered through a blend of video conferencing seminars, tutorials and support sessions all tailored to the individual.
How long to the programmes last?
Most programmes are 10 days, and run from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with two video classroom sessions each day. Once the programme has ended, there will be ongoing support through our Aftercare programme.
