Congratulations Jane!

March saw two strong nominations for the Learner of the Month award. It was a close race between Rebecca McDonald’s nomination, Sophy J and Jane B who was nominated by her assessor, Emma Wood.

A close race saw Jane awarded as the overall winner with a majority of 53% of the vote. Well done to Sophy on coming so close and for your dedication towards your studies since starting with Release Potential as a trainee.

Jane has recently completed her Higher Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care at Leven House Rest Home.

Jane’s assessor, Emma, commented that “Jane managed her time very effectively to ensure she was fully prepared for assessments and always goes over and above what was expected of her” but it was Jane’s commitment and determination to improve standards and overall resident experience at Leven House which saw Jane win this month’s prize. Emma added, “Jane has relished her assessment sessions and has clearly learned a lot, but, more importantly, has been applying this knowledge in the workplace and the outcome of this are tangible.”
