Many congratulations to Matt S from the Sunderland Returneeship course who has won Novembers Learner of the Month Award.

Matt’s confidence improved massively over the course. He took part in every aspect of the course and was always willing to help his fellow team mates.
At the beginning of the course Matt required a lot of reassurance when completing his workbooks to ensure he was filling them in correctly, however he was already filling these in to a very good standard showing he had a good level of understanding already.

The group that Matt was part of had a few absences and he was always willing to sit and explain the workbook to his fellow team mates to help them catch up with missing work.
On the last catch up day his whole team were unavailable, and he sat and completed their environmental A3 poster himself, which was marked the best poster from the class.

Matt really enjoyed this experience and was one of the few learners who took notice of the job board and applied for a couple of these jobs, coming out of the course with a telephone
