Learner of the Month – August 2017

Exceptional Emma!

Emma recently completed her Level 5 Leadership in Health & Social Care Qualification with Release Potential.

Emma is in her early twenties and works in the role of Care Co-ordinator in a domicillary company. Recently Emma worked on the person-centred practice unit of her qualification and this has supported the reviewing of all the client care-plans. The care-plans have been transformed and this will have a very positive impact on the experience the clients have. Staff have fed back their approval of the new care-plan and Emma is deservedly proud to have lead these changes. I am impressed that Emma has applied knowledge and understanding gained in her qualification to her work role and that this will result in positive outcomes for people receiving care.

She commented that “hard work pays off”. On receiving the Learner of The Month Certificate Emma says that she felt proud, it felt good to have recognition for doing something right. She feels motivated to do further qualifications and progress in her career.
