Learner of the Month – July 2017

Magnificent Mel!

Melvyn D, of the Sunderland Returneeship course, was nominated by Kelly Waugh for the important role he played within his team as a mentor to his peers.

Kelly commented that “Mel was always a pleasure to have in the classroom and really embraced the Returneeship ethos”.

Mel took a lead role within his group and made sure everyone was involved in group tasks. Mel won the respect of his team members who would always approach him for support if they needed it.

July also saw Daniela N from the Bradford Returneeship course being nominated. Daniela was also put forward for the help and support she gave to her fellow team members. Daniela helped her team by members with reading and writing and took the lead role in the group presentation.

It’s great to see learners being nominated for the help and support they give to others and we wish both Mel and Daniela the best of luck for the future following their Returneeship course.
